This collection houses a 1977 newsletter for academic advisors at the University of Tennessee. It includes information about program name changes, changes in education law requirements, and changes in deans and other administrative personnel.

This collection contains statistics on minority faculty, staff, and students, plans for desegregation, records of the statewide Desegregation Monitoring Committee, and information relating to the stipulations of Geier fulfillment documenting the enhancement of diversity at the University of Tennessee.

This collection houses the 1973-74 Annual Report of Research and Service Activities issued by the Center for Business and Economic Research on the University of Tennessee campus. It includes background and objectives, descriptions of studies conducted, and notes on funding.

This collection contains materials documenting Professor Clinton Allison’s service in the Department of Education at the University of Tennessee. Items housed in the collection include newsletters from the department, state and university publications on secondary and higher education, and meeting agendas and minutes from Allison’s tenure as president of the Faculty Senate.

This collection consists primarily of materials documenting the UT College of Education's creation of policy and routine operations. Other documents address curriculum matters, either within the College of Education or as they relate to other University colleges and programs of study.

The majority of this collection is composed of Dr. Daniel Quarles' papers and material documenting the National Conference of Professors of Education Administration (NCPEA). A few items showing the Walter D. Cocking Memorial Lectures are also included.

This collection houses the records of the Office of the Senior Vice President at the University of Tennessee, Nashville. Of particular interest are the files documenting UT Nashville's merger with Tennessee State University.

This 24 x 20.5- inch photograph depicts the graduating class of the University of Tennessee Medical Department of 1894. It shows individual portraits, names, and hometowns of graduating students. The department's faculty are pictured in the center.

This collection houses correspondence, legal documents, publications, and other materials documenting the University of Tennessee, Nashville from 1962 to 1980. Of particular interest are the items showing the accusations of segregation and subsequent merger with Tennessee State University.

This collection houses materials documenting the first few years of the University Studies Program, an interdisciplinary collection of activities designed to provide a broad view of science, social science, and humanities. Materials include a timeline showing the establishment of the program, a 1986 program review, budget materials, and catalog entries.
